A rocking Opportunity Center at ALCC witnessed four pro bouts in a pro/am card promoted by Carlos Llnas in Monroe, MI on Friday night. The main event saw Matthew Niziolek (2-0, 1 KO) defeat a tough opponent Derek Reyes (0-2) with a TKO at the 2:14 mark in the second round. Reyes was knocked down twice and showed heart but Niziolek was just too strong in the Welterweight contest.

Cruiserweight Zachary Drummond won his pro boxing debut by getting the doctor to stop his opponent from continuing in between Rounds 1 and 2. His opponent Brandon Freeman (0-1) did get knocked down by a hard right in the first. Drummond is now (1-0, 1 KO).

Heavyweight Vernon Webber (2-0, 1 KO) knocked down Marcus Maulding (1-4) twice to win at the 1:48 mark in the 1st round by knockout.

Middleweight Alexis Torres (1-0, 1 KO) easily defeated Richard Tucker sending him through the ropes. The loss drops Tucker to (0-5). The 1st round was not bad, as both fighters looked good. In the 2nd round, Torres dominated scoring the round’s 39 second TKO.
