In a rematch of their controversial fight last year, Kiryl Relikh (22-2, 19 KOs) got revenge against previously unbeaten two-division world champion Rances Barthelemy (26-1, 13 KOs), taking a twelve round unanimous decision to claim the vacant WBA super lightweight title on Saturday night at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas.
Relikh took the fight to Barthelemy and outworked him by a wide margin. Barthelemy was deducted a point for a low blow in round seven. Scores were 117-110, 118-109, 118-109.
