Moore vows to expose Floyd’s weaknesses

“Dangerous” Don Moore, former sparring partner for retired world champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather, seems pretty confident of showing up his old boss when they meet in a May 14 exhibition to be staged on the helipad of Dubai’s opulent Burj Al Arab Hotel. The two faced off earlier today at a press conference held in the Press Room of the Gabriel Miami Downtown Hotel to announce the PPV event, which will be available worldwide on pay-per-view.

Don Moore: “I am excited to participate in this event. Because of how much of the same training I received from Roger Mayweather, I am gonna be able to give Floyd real problems. I have been training hard to show everyone what ‘Dangerous’ Don Moore is all about and expose Floyd’s weaknesses. This is my shot, The time is now, Floyd isn’t invincible. Anyone can be beaten.”

Floyd Mayweather: “I am always trying to push the envelope and if something is brought to my attention that has a unique aspect to it, I am always interested. Having a fight on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai and the opportunity to be the star of the show is going to be something I will remember always. People all over the world can buy the PPV and watch us fight high above, almost in the sky.”

  • PPV for a sparring session? Count me out. And if Floyd is gonna spar with someone, let it be Adrien Broner; he’s funny as hell when he spars & would provide comedy relief!

    • Better get used to it. I’m sure Floyd can do this for another 5 years. With all the grumbling and disdain for the Logan Paul “exhibition”, Floyd made $65 mil and got all the media’s attention. His articles get the most comments on this site for so many of you pretending not to be interested.
Floyd is a true master of life: box 1 night per year and fly around the world with busty Instagram models to fondle on his private jets.

    • Fletch, i mean he has to be, right??Why else wld he be charging PPV for an exhibition bout. I remember back when famous fighters did exhibition bouts, BUT those were for Charity. This fool be keeping all the money. Maybe he is going broke.

  • Pretty sure in the contract there can’t be a knockout of Floyd and can only be hit by phantom jabs.

    • Steve, you are right. This is nothing more than a smoke and mirrors magic trick for suckers to buy into a staged act.

  • I’VE NEVER PAID FOR PPV FIGHTS MAINLY BECAUSE 15 MINUTES LATER THEY ARE ON YOUTUBE FOR A FEW HOURS BEFORE THEY ARE TAKEN DOWN… PAY FOR SPARRING… GET THE F OUT A HERE… I WOULDN’T GIVE TWO CHITS IF THEY FOUGHT ON A ICEBERG… THESE RETIRED GUYS THINK WAY TO MUCH OF THEMSELVES…

    • I wld pay for the sparring session if they wrapped their hands and dipped em in honey and then broken glass. Tong Po kickerboxer status. I’d pay to watch at that point lol

  • Should be a brutal fight, reminiscent of Corrales-Castillo. As “Dangerous” Don Moore pointed out, he was a pupil of Roger Mayweather, so Floyd is in a World of trouble. The time is now folks. I think we’ll finally witness the passing of the torch.

  • Moore knows all Floyd’s tricks plus Moore doesn’t know how to lose. Floyd can’t even get Logan Paul out of there these days and they don’t call Moore Dangerous Don for nothing.

    • I would also point out that Dangerous Don is in his 23rd year as a pro, and has had only 19 fights, so he’s a fresh 42 year old. Two unbeaten warriors. Only fitting that this fight is taking place almost in the sky. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a scuffle at the press conference with all the tension leading up to the fight.

    • Name a dangerous fighter don has fought or name one that he fought who was even ranked in the top 20 or 50 at that lol

  • The worst kind of boxing fans buy this. Floydboys satisfied with competitively expired fights are a cancer to boxing. Floyd barely makes top 100 of all time. Floyd makes corrupt US white television executives rich who protect his record whilst pocketing millions in dirty money. Floyd defines the term ” Uncle Tom”

  • I haven’t bought a PPV since closed circuit TV Ali V Foreman a few decades back. I heard about this fight on Tick Tok and I knew I needed to invest one last time. Mayweather is bringing boxing back to life with these amazing events.. can’t wait I have no clue who dangerous Don is but this sounds like a high risk fight we’re legacy of a legend is at stake.

  • Time to find a hobby little Floyd. Attention whore needs to get a life and quit trying to stay relevant.

Greedy prick just can’t let the young lions be in the spotlight. Whenever a young fighter makes money this jealous whore always gotta come up with his bullshit “But I made 300 million in one night” Bla bla bla…no one cares anymore and no one wants to see you anymore so please please GO AWAY

  • Hard to find any boxer who is more irrelevant than attention seeking Mayweather. Just retire already for f… sake Boxing has become a joke with all the reality morons and washed up has beens clamoring for attention

  • Floyd continues to mock the sport that made him a very wealthy man. Disgusting individual.

  • Floyd’s actual record should be 49-0. His staged 50th “fight” was against a non-boxer. Floyd carried his non-boxer “opponent” until the Irishman ran out of gas & got hit with some soft jabs. I still can’t believe the Nevada commission sanctioned that farce!

  • “People all over the world can buy the PPV….”.
    – No thanks, Floyd.
    – Probably won’t even watch the “low lights” on YouTube.

  • Again Floyd validates that he is a conniving circus clown, who thinks he’s still revellent today, talking on Canelo, arguing with Tank and he cons people into thinking this spectacle with “Dangerous Don” is a PPV event.

  • Main weakness that Floyd has now is the willingness to embarrass himself and the sport that made him a rich man by engaging in these ridiculous “exhibitions.”

  • Maybe Floyd can’t afford the payments for his hair plugs anymore so he needs to make some quick cash before they are repossessed 🙂

  • Yawn. This has turned into sports entertainment and we might see a yearly FloydaMania event. Hell of a business plan though. Stay in shape and get paid for it after retirement.

  • “When it comes to legalized bank robbing, I’m the best.”

-Floyd Mayweather, Jr. after his exhibition with Logan Paul

  • What’s the problem? If you don’t want to watch, don’t buy it. I won’t. But if a guy can earn six figures for a sparring session, why on earth WOULDNT he do so? I’d do it in a heartbeat. So would you. Floyd’s not so different from you and I…

  • A sparring session with a 40+ yr old man who retired years ago. Only thing this exposes is how desperate some folks are for a payday.

  • Wow. Cant believe yall interested in this joke!? Floyd ducked dangerous fighters plenty in his carreer. Do the research! WISE UP!!

  • There’s a lot of wealth in Dubai and people are starved for entertainment in the desert. It means nothing for these Saudi oil barons to shell out thousands to see a retired fighter they are probably only vaguely aware of. Now, if you know anything at all about boxing, and you are not made of gold and you pay to see this fight, you are just a damn fool!

  • Lol don moore aint fought anyone but in midwest prob aint been in rong for 10 yrs and last time he trained with roger was prob over 10 yrs ago

  • I’ve been one of Floyd’s biggest fans but I’m growing tired of this dude. WHY would he be having a PPV “exhibition 2 weeks prior to Tank’s PPV? He’s sour because Tank likely isn’t resigning. Why would he? Every time Tanks wants to talk that big-nosed (explicit) Ellerbe is running his dk-licker. And Floyd has to give a 30 minute speech about his career when nobody asked him. All of that to say, I’ll still be watching the darn exhibition on replay like everyone else.

  • Some of the comments on this forum are insane. Talk about mayweather derangement syndrome.
