This past Saturday, undefeated featherweight prospect, Ricky “El Castigo” Medina (13-0, 7 KOs), took one step closer to contender status as he stopped Armando Frausto (9-3-1, 5 KOs) in the eighth and final round in the main event at The Scottish Rite Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. The ring doctor was called ten seconds into the eighth round and advised the referee to stop the bout due to damage that had taken place to Frausto.
