Five years have gone by since Mauricio Sulaiman was elected President of the World Boxing Council, following the passing of his father José Sulaimán, who led the WBC for 38 years.
Today, with the same values his father promoted, Mauricio is creating his own history with programs like the Clean Boxing Program, the Jose Sulaimán Champions Fund, Amateur Boxing Development, the WBC Nutrition Committee, the WBC Safety Committee with pre-weigh ins and mandatory medical exams, and many other initiatives, actions and programs. Many congratulations to Mauricio on his tireless work to improve boxing.
