Kilic punishes Hernandez

Super middleweight Cem Kilic (16-1, 11 KOs) scored a second round KO over Tony Hernandez (6-13-2, 4 KOs) on Thursday night at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello, California. Formerly world-rated Kilic dropped journeyman Hernandez at the end of round one and again in round two prompting a referee’s stoppage at 2:51. Kilic is trained by Brian Viloria.

In the main event, southpaw super welterweight Callum Walsh (2-0, 2 KOs) needed just 33 seconds to demolish Gael Ibarra (5-7, 4 KOs). A straight left finished Ibarra.

Unbeaten super featherweight Adrian Corona (9-0-1, 2 KOs) and “Smokin'” Joe Perez (15-6-3, 10 KOs) battled to a six round majority draw. Scores were 58-56, 57-57, 57-57.

Light heavyweight Marco Deckmann (8-1, 7 KOs) battered Victor Fonseca (18-11-1, 14 KOs) into sunbission in round four. Body shots forced Forseca to take a knee and say no mas. Time was 2:42.

Middleweight Eric Priest (7-0, 5 KOs) needed just 19 seconds to stop David Lopez (4-3, 3 KOs) in round one.

Featherweight Omar Trinidad (7-0-1, 5 KOs) outscored Ivan Varela over six 59-55 3x.
