Fightnews.com® caught up with one of boxing’s best trainers Derrick James as he prepares unified welterweight champ Errol “The Truth” Spence Jr. to square off against the living legend Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao Sat, Aug. 21 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and shown live on FOX Sports PBC Pay-Per-View.

James shared his thoughts on what it will take to beat Pacquiao, the idea of fighting Terence “Bud” Crawford before Spence moves to 154 and if he could see a potential matchup with Canelo by the end of the year if he comes out unscathed against Pacquiao. James also took a look back at his other unified champ, Jermell Charlo, and his recent fight with Brian Castano for the undisputed title at 154 and much more in this exclusive interview!
