It was a boxer-puncher contest, with Usyk jabbing and moving and Gassiev pressing and looking to land hard shots. Usyk had a rapid-fire workrate and outworked the hard-punching Gassiev throughout the fight. Scores were 120-108, 119-109, 119-109.

Usyk now has all the belts, plus the WBSS Muhammad Ali Trophy presented to him by Lonnie Ali. As for future plans, Usyk called out Tony Bellew.

Former WBC cruiserweight champion Mairis Briedis (24-1, 18 KOs) pounded out an uneventful ten round unanimous decision over Brandon Deslaurier (11-2-1, 10 KOs). Briedis pressed the action while Deslaurier mostly looked to go the rounds. No scores were announced. We had it 100-90 for Briedis.

Undisputed WBA/WBC/IBF/WBO female welterweight champion Cecelia Breakus (34-0, 9 KOs) retained her belt with a one-sided ten round unanimous decision over Inna Sagaydakovskaya (7-1, 3 KOs). Scores were 98-92, 98-92, and 97-93.
