Salita inks Brandon Moore

Salita Promotions has announced the signing of 6’6 heavyweight Brandon Moore (16-1, 10 KOs). The 2019 Florida Golden Gloves Champion and Bronze medalist at the 2019 Olympic Games trials, will make his Salita Promotions debut against Skylar Lacy (8-0-2, 6 KOs) on Sunday, February 2, in Flint, Michigan, for the vacant USBA title during the “Super Brawl Sunday”, airing live on DAZN. Headlining the card will be hometown hero Claressa Shields colliding against the Danielle Perkins for the undisputed female heavyweight title.

  • Apparently Top Rank signed Moore just to lose to Torrez and then sent him on his way.

  • Brandon Moore has serious potential but I don’t know where he stands emotionally. Does he have the mean streak needed to be merciless when needed? Sure he can knock people out, but does he have the “it” factor?

    He has great reach for his size and he can land bombs with either hand. The biggest issue I’ve seen is his hesitancy and delivery of shots which is why I wonder about his internal make-up. If he can be paired with a team that specializes in the long range game like Kronk does, he can make noise and some good paydays to change his future.
