Yarde KOs Sequeira, remains unbeaten

Unbeaten WBO #2, IBF #5 light heavyweight Anthony “The Beast” Yarde (17-0, 16 KOs) scored a fourth round KO against overmatched Walter Gabriel Sequeira (21-5, 15 KOs) on Saturday night at the Brentwood Centre in Brentwood, England. Yarde dropped Sequeira three times in round four to end it. Time for Yarde to step up the competition.

Welterweight Johnny Garton (23-1-1, 10 KOs) scored a bloody and hard-fought eleventh round TKO over Gary Corcoran (18-3, 8 KOs) in a bout for the vacant British title. Garton sent Corcoran reeling against the ropes and referee Steve Gray waved it off. Time was :42.

Middleweight “Smokin’” Joe Mullender (11-2, 5 KOs) scored a seventh round TKO over very game Ben Capps (15-5-2, 7 KOs). Capps down multiple times. Time was 1:46.

In a clash of unbeaten super middleweights, Zak Chelli (5-0, 2 KOs) scored an eight round decision over Umar Sadiq (3-1, 1 KO). Chelli dropped Sadiq in round six. Score was 77-74.

Heavyweight Nathan Gorman (14-0, 11 KOs) scored a lackluster eight round decision over former sparring partner Kamil Sokolowski (5-13-2, 2 KOs). Score was 79-73.

Formerly world-rated welterweight Bradley Skeete (28-2, 13 KOs) stopped Fernando Valencia (8-7, 4 KOs) in round three.
