“Today I decided to hang up the gloves as another stage in my life is coming,” announced former world champion Lucas Mathysse on his Instagram page. In a long message, Matthysse stated that for ten years he stayed at the top world level where he fought with the best in boxing and fulfilled his dream of being a world champion.

“I’m retiring from boxing 8-1-2018 and many thanks to all the people I met through boxing.”
