Check out some great shots in this GIANT photo gallery from Saturday’s twinbill featuring IBF welterweight champion Jaron “Boots” Ennis (33-0, 29 KOs) against Karen Chukhadzhian and WBC super flyweight champion Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez (21-0, 14 KOs) against Pedro Guevara (42-5-1, 22 KOs) at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Is Boots drained at 147? He seemed to have something missing. That usually comes from pushing too hard for those last 3-4 pounds. Perhaps his body matured and he’s not accepting it. I would try 154 at this point. Not having to overdo it during the draining process can wake your body back up.
If that is not the answer and he is respecting his body outside of the ring, he’s declining a little young.
Difficult opponent
Yes, he said so after the fight. He said, I guess it’s time to go to 154.
– I was there !!!!!!
– Not really impressed with Ennis.
– The undercard was soild………….
– Solid.
In my opinion, Bam has joined the top echelon of P4P with Crawford, Inoue, and Usyk.
Sometimes styles make fights. Perhaps Karen Chukhadzhian has a style that makes it difficult for Ennis to look great. In two fights he was unable to finish him off. Only time will tell.
When will this guy fight somebody with a pulse?
