Boesel-Koelling rivalry heats up

The final press conference took place Tuesday for Saturday’s grudge showdown between European light heavyweight champion Dominic Boesel (27-1, 10 KOs) and mandatory challenger Enrico Koelling (26-2, 8 KOs) that will take place at the Stadthalle in Weissenfels, Germany. The bad blood is so intense that the fighters were separated by a barrier and not even allowed to see each other.

Dominic Boesel: “It’s enough to see Enrico on the poster. He thinks he’ll win by knockout, but I have more knockouts than him! I’m going to win, maybe even ahead of schedule!”

Enrico Koelling: “I’m the tougher guy and can bite down better. He’s the defending champion in his hometown, but I’m going to wear him down and win by KO!”
