A sad few days for boxing. Most sports would be embarrassed by matchups that boxing is proud of!!!!
It’s funny…McCall has come in lighter than some of his previous fights in his 30s and 40s. Guess he does stay in shape.
At least McCall is fighting a 54 yr. old, and not a younger kid in his athletic prime. Also, looks like only 4 rounds. Wish they were wearing 16 oz. gloves, but maybe they are and we didn’t get these details. Even with that, one of these guys could still get hurt. I hope the Tennessee commission required McCall and Frazier to get an MRI, EKG, a Neuro exam and any other extra ‘old guy’ medicals, to make sure they are healthy and combat ready. Good luck!

I’m not sure why people are singling out the Tennessee commission. After all, the California commission just approved the mismatch of the year: former heavyweight champion Prince Charles Martin vs. 43-yr-old Matt McKinney! And, it was the Nevada commission that approved one of the best boxers in history, Floyd Mayweather Jr, 49-0, versus a non-boxer making his pro debut in the biggest farce in history!

Oliver McCall is a freak of Nature. When he had his mental breakdown during a fight with Lennox Lewis, McCall had his hands down by his sides while getting blasted with Lennox’s best shots & not even blinking!
Wasted talent. Maybe he can get a few pay
days on the senior tour. BTW, I’m sure he’s tough as nails. At his age, or any age.
I’m not surprised this is happening in TN. Boxers past their prime usually go to Southern States such as Tennessee or Mississippi because the commission usually does not them too much hassle despite their age.
The last couple of editions of Country Box were featured on Don King Productions’ YT channel. They’re usually pretty odd, with a country band playing songs between fights.
Painful to watch. Atrocious country music with mismatch boxing.

McCall just stopped his opponent in the 2nd. The Atomic Bull was being outboxed in the first round, but dropped his opponent with a clubbing right to the back of the head. Another clubbing right to the dome dropped Stacy Frazier for the count in the 2nd round.
