WBA #15 light heavyweight Regain Dessaix (15-1, 10 KOs) will clash with Steve Lovett (17-2, 13 KOs) over ten rounds at the Seagulls Rugby League club at Tweed Heads, NSW, Australia on Saturday. Lovett boxed successfully in the USA from 2014 to 2017 registering eight victories and suffering two defeats with one no contest, and since returning to Australia has scored two wins. Dessaix has been impressive in 2018 scoring stoppage victories over Peter Ato Ricketts of Ghana and Shintaro Matsumoto of Japan. Promoter Nick Midgely said, “This will be a very competitive light heavyweight bout and a opportunity for the victor to climb up the world ratings.”
