World Boxing Council (WBC) flyweight champion Cristofer Rosales (28-3, 19 KOs) scored a spectacular fourth round KO over two-time Olympic bronze medalist Paddy Barnes (5-1, 1 KO) on Saturday night at Windsor Park in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
A Rosales right hand to the body left the previously unbeaten Barnes writhing on the canvas for the full count. Time was 3:00. Barnes was fighting for the world championship in his sixth professional fight.
Welterweight journeyman William Warburton moved to 26-138-10, 5 KOs, after a six round 60-54 decision loss against Lewis Crocker (7-0, 6 KOs). Warburton only has two stoppage defeats in his 138 losses. The fight got national TV exposure in the UK.
