I’m a little surprised Woodley attended this after being on the receiving end of a rather brutal KO.
I agree, he must be OK after an examination post-fight. In all honesty, may be KO of the month on some networks or by some critics.
Paul needs to fight a top ten real contender in boxing.
I’ll take a top 100. He trashed Yildrim. Let’s see him start there.
I’m no hater, just a realist. He’s starting off the way any other pro has (except Loma maybe) fight sub par competition and pad the record. My disdain is for thinking that he is ready for a noteworthy opponent at this point.
I believe people dislike the attention he is getting. He’s getting more attention then a gold medallist turned pro this early in their career. He’s a brash bugger with a ton of money as well. He shouldn’t step up to quick due to the pressure of the haters
A top 10 real contender is premature for any 2nd year 5 fight pro boxer. Even if that fighter in most cases was a Olympian who medaled. (not the case) And/or with hundreds of amateur fights (also not the case). The PPV status and ability to self promote and manage a champion on his own card is deceiving. But Jake can’t get ahead of himself on advanced opponents, even if all the other pieces are covered monetarily.
He at least needs to be fighting actual boxers. Not people from other disciplines. That’s a real measuring yardstick at least. They aren’t hard to find.
Woodleys not a boxer he’s just an old mma fighter like Frank Mir. I don’t want o see woodley Paul 3 or Mir Puliev2 . Jakes a weird dude. He hasn’t been hit yet because he isn’t fighting anybody. Totally protected it’s gonna be interesting if he fight Mike Tyson in 2022
Paul sounds real punchy. Give it away, mate.
He should fight that Subway boxer Mike Lee. Remember him? That might be a good challenge.
Any of the Paul brothers VS Chavez JR!!! Entertaining 50/50 fight!
Please stop giving this circus any press makes a joke of the real contenders trying to get a title shot. If Joke Paul had some guts he would take on an up and coming pro with the same record as himself. If not an older pro Sergei Kovalev comes to mind. Just make this crap end.
I bet if you visit Paul’s house over the holidays, he has that KO on TV on a loop. Paul doesnt have the stamina and Woodley didnt even pressure him. Future is not looking good at this point unless he continues to hand pick some MMA fighters.
Jake paul is a wrecking machine. One shot and canelo would be nighty night.
