High expectations from boxing fans in Tijuana this Saturday at Gasmart Stadium,.

Former world champion and pound-for-pound contender Luis “Pantera” Nery (26-0, 20 KOs) will begin the road back to a world title against Filipino Jason Canoy (27-8-2, 19 KOs)in a twelve rounder for the WBC silver bantamweight title.

“I get nervous just thinking that I’ll fight in my house, in the Gasmart I’m committed to give a great show and I’m obliged to deliver a great victory for my promoter Fernando Beltran and all the fans on my return. We are ready!” Nery said.

In the co-feature, WBC interim female flyweight world champion Kenya Enriquez (20-1, 9 KOs) faces unbeaten Norleidys Graterol (7-0, 7 KOs), with whom no opponent has past the second round.

The is card expected to attract more than 15,000 fans.
