WBC #1 rated super featherweight Miguel “Micky” Román (59-12, 46 KOs) takes on unbeaten Venezuelan KO artist Michel Marcano (17-0-1, 14 KOs) on Saturday at the Fería de Juárez in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Roman will be Marcano’s first opponent with a winning record.

“There are many hours of work and preparation for a fight,” said Roman. “There are days in which you have to sacrifice a lot, but my single dream is to be world champion, the first from Ciudad Juarez, so every fight has a special value. Every fight is very important and this weekend I want to once again dedicate my fight to all my beautiful people of Ciudad Juarez. Everything I do is for them.”
