Still rolling with an easy decision by haney in this one.
Haney will jab, stay on the back foot and move. He will not get aggressive, or drawn into a brawl, instead will box smartly and bank rounds.
But the odds are just too lopsided to bet him at -1000.
A $100 flier on Garcia might be worth it at +600 for the Garcia fans, but I just don’t think he’s smart enough to set up his power shots or patient enough to stick to a game plan for 12 rds to earn a decision. He has loads of talent but fights with emotion instead of brains.
Hopefully Garcia will knock out loud mouth Haney. Can’t stand either his dad or himself.
Many people would like to see that however it’s not going to happen….Garcia will lose
It won’t happen and you don’t believe it will. Ryan doesn’t have the elite skills.
Haney is so cocky. Ryan is going get to him and make him Quit.
If this face off was made very recently, I see no issues in Ryan Garcia’s mental state. Now, talking about the fight; I believe Haney will try to outsmart Garcia to frustrate him, like Leonard did to Duran in the ” no mas” fight, but a well placed punch can happen in any round and I truly believe it will happen, depending the intensity it could an ending fight punch or a big scare moment
Devin will fight his usual safety first ‘hit and don’t get hit in return’ style. I just cannot see what Ryan can do to answer this.
Take some chances with his power. Push the tempo and not let Haney settle into his usual chuck and jive.
LOL the same Ryan who kept turning his back to a lesser opponent than Haney. It won’t happen.
Listen Yawngay, he may surprise you, but either way, you have a quitter fighting a race baiting big mouth punk. Both are losers. May the best punk win.
They have fought a few times in the amateurs. To counter the backdoor style, Ryan would have to outwork Haney, but one thing is saying it and another is doing so. Cerebral type of fight. Garcia would have to jump to a 3 round lead going into the 8th and hope to catch Haney trying to catch-up on points. Hit first and last. Tough task.
They seem a little bit too chummy now. Hmmm, but I will give it to them showing each other some respect.
I couldn’t watch five minutes of this nonsense. Frankly, Garcia has shown nothing in the ring that indicates that he’s a top-tier fighter. He hasn’t beaten any top-tier fighters. He’s nothing more than a media darling, a pretty-boy, who tries to sound like he’s of and from the hard streets. He’s nothing. All hype. Haney will beat him easily. Whether he survives the entire fight, will depend on how much punishment he can take. His only hope is to land a lucky power shot that Haney never saw coming. With Garcia throwing predictable combinations and throwing power shots in predictable fashion, combined with Haney’s defense-first style, I don’t see this happening. Haney has beaten better fighters. Haney by decision or even a late-round TKO.
– I watched this nonsense for a few minutes, then wanted to puke.
– Tickets for this event, way overpriced IMO, are moving slower than snails on sleep meds.
– General Admission starts at $250, down from $350 when the fight was first announced.
– They may be giving these tickets away come fight night…..
Religiosity is futile. Every Worship must be proven over a lifelong chronology that Behaviorally matches Bible. All else is opinion based. Where do you think the court system derives that only DNA and physical evidence must be collected to prove a case ? Ryan has deceived the paying public with all his erratic and unfocused behaviors. Then to speak of Christ makes him sound unfounded. When Haney engages Garcia he makes himself appear foolish.
“Where do you think the court system derives that only DNA and physical evidence must be collected to prove a case?”
– Science-based evidence.
– And the proof presented must be “beyond a reasonable doubt” in criminal cases.
I’ll admit that Devin should win, but I’d like to see him get KO’d by Ryan.
