Former IBF lightweight champion, Miguel “Titere” Vazquez (38-5, 14 KOs) returns on September 2 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, against Daniel “Cañerito” Ruiz (34-10-2, 24 KOs) in a clash for the WBC Latino super welterweight belt. Vazquez, coming off a W8 two weeks ago, is a slick boxer who can usually be counted on to have his bouts go the full distance. He is now promoted by Joel Gallegos/4X4 Promotions and is looking to land a WBC title shot soon.
