In a clash of undefeated lightweights, Thomas Mattice (13-0, 10 KOs) took a highly controversial eight round split decision over Zhora Hamazaryan (9-1, 6 KOs). Hamazaryan dropped Mattice in round two and rocked him several other times, which two of the judges apparently missed. Scores were 77-74 for Hamazaryan and 76-75, 76-75 for Mattice.

In a tough super lightweight fight, former national amateur champion Kenneth Sims Jr. (12-1-1, 4 KOs) and undefeated prospect Montana Love (11-0-1, 5 KOs) battled to an eight round draw. Scores were 77-75 Sims, 77-75 Love, 76-76.
