Dib-Farmer clash Aug 3 for IBF 130 title

By Ray Wheatley — World of Boxing

Former IBF featherweight champion Billy Dib (43-4, 24 KOs) will clash with Tevin Farmer (25-4-1, 5 KOs) for the vacant IBF super featherweight championship at Technology Park, Sydney, NSW, Australia on August 3rd. Dib is trained by former three-time world champion Jeff Fenech, who is confident his charge will be victorious. “Billy is very focused and is in great fight shape to win on August 3rd,” said Fenech.

Farmer is coming off a split decision loss to Kenichi Ogawa for the vacant IBF super featherweight title in 2017 but Ogawa was later stripped of the title and decision was changed to a No Contest when the Japanese fighter tested positive for androstanediol.
