Crawford, Benavidez on weight at wild weigh-in

WBO welterweight champion Terence “Bud” Crawford weighed in at 145.4 pounds for his world title defense against Jose Benavidez Jr., who scaled in at 145 pounds. They collide Saturday night at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

During the face-off, Benavidez pushed Crawford, who responded by taking a swing that narrowly missed Benavidez’ jaw. The fighters were quickly separated.

In the co-feature, 2016 Olympic silver medalist Shakur Stevenson weighed 128 pounds and his opponent, late sub Viorel Simion weighed 128.4.
