Former undisputed lightweight king Teofimo Lopez and current junior welterweight contender Sandor Martin kicked off fight week 100 stories above Manhattan at Edge at Hudson Yards, the highest sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, in advance of Saturday’s clash in the big room at Madison Square Garden.

  • If lopez wants to be an elite fighter, he needs to be In with only top guys… step it up. So many options…

    • What’s the beef? Martin is a live body. Prograis just fought, Taylor is matched up. May as well stay busy until some sort of title match pops up.

  • I think Martin is a live dog. He proved that he can win when brought into lose. Also Lopez is up in weight for just the 2nd time. He may not have the same advantages with strength and power that he did at 135lb. Martin is fast and busy plus he believes in himself. I am interested to see how this plays out.

  • Martin is an awkward live-underdog. I’m thinking Lopez by late round KO but would like to see Martin pull the upset and get a stoppage to shut Lopez and his father up. They have no class
