The August 26 bout between boxer Floyd Mayweather and MMA fighter Conor McGregor is generating extreme betting action and could surpass the record total wagered on Mayweather-Pacquiao. According to lvrj.com, CG Technology (which runs the sports books at eight major Las Vegas properties) is reporting that 90% of the bets are on McGregor, although in total more money has been wagered on Floyd. At the MGM Resorts sports book (the host casino) there have been 2,500 wagers on McGregor and 65 on Mayweather thus far. Floyd is currently a 7:1 favorite.
