Ryder KOs Sirotkin in WBA 168lb eliminator

In a WBA super middleweight final eliminator, WBA #3 John Ryder (27-4, 15 KOs) scores a seventh round KO over previously unbeaten #4 rated Andrey Sirotkin (15-1, 4 KOs) on Saturday night at the Copper Box in London, England. It seemed to be going south for Ryder over the early rounds, but Ryder turned it around, rocking Sirotkin with an uppercut in round seven and then battering him to the canvas with a body shot. Ryder is now in line for the Canelo-Fielding winner.

Unbeaten featherweight Jordan Gill (22-0, 6 KOs) scored a seventh round TKO over Ryan Doyle (17-2-1, 9 KOs). Doyle was down in round six. Gill claimed the Commonwealth title.

In a bout for the British super welterweight belt, Ted Cheeseman (15-0, 9 KOs) defeated Asinia Byfield (14-2, 6 KOs) over twelve by scores of 117-110, 117-111, 117-111. Byfield was down in round five.

Cruiserweight Isaac Chamberlain (10-1, 4 KOs) edged Luke Watkins (13-2, 9 KOs) over ten by a 95-94 score. A tenth round knockdown for Chamberlain provided the margin of victory.

Middleweight Felix Cash (10-0, 6 KOs) swept past Stephen Danyo (14-2,-3, 6 KOs) over ten by a 100-90 count in a bout for the WBC International silver belt.
