My goodness what a weak division when you’re fighting a soon to be 50 year old fighter! Esparza looked a little bloated in there for some reason!! Seniesa would dust you again girl!!
I don’t like to speak badly about any boxer as they risk their lives each time they enter the ring. But she’s bad…like really really bad. It literally hurts to watch a “world champion” who’s skills are that of a good 6 year old amateur boxer. They’re trying so hard to make women’s boxing relevant, but there’s a reason why nobody careers. It’s painful.
She sure thinks she has skills, but she’s wrong. Superbad will destroy her once again, easily…
Congrats Champ! It was a decent lil scrap against a stubborn vet who didn’t want to give her belt up!
A few things she’ll have to tweak here and there, but not a bad performance overall!
Pretty good head movement in there, too!
I’ll give her a B- for performance. Definitely not the worse I’ve seen!
All respect due.
There are a lot of people on here taking shots, but I know personally, it’s not as easy as it looks from where they’re sitting on couch!
It’s just as tough and rugged on any level! A fight, is a fight! Getting punched in the face NEVER feels good!
Don’t assume that some of us (perhaps only a few) have boxed as amateurs or pro on some level. Problem with Marlen is that she thinks she’s way better than what she really is and dies a lot of talking outside of the ring. I’ve known her since she was an amateur back in 06. She always badmouths her competition so it’s only right that it comes back to her?! No not Karma, just truth!!
