Diaz, Mrema arrive in Cebu on Tuesday

Pinoy Pride 41 main antagonists Daniel “El General“ Diaz from Nicaragua and Tanzanian Goodluck Mrema will arrive in Cebu this Tuesday, ahead of their scheduled show against some of the Philippines’ top fighters on Saturday.

Newly crowned Tanzanian super bantamweight champion Goodluck Mrema, who stakes his unblemished record against RP #1 super bantamweight Jeo “Santino” Santisima, will arrive in Cebu by 4pm on July 4, together with trainer Paul Akoth aboard Emirates Airlines flight EK338.

Meanwhile, veteran and Nicaragua’s number 2 Super Bantamweight Daniel “El General” Diaz, who will be coming to challenge WBO international featherweight champion and undefeated Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo, will be arriving in the country accompanied by manager and former two-division world champion Rosendo Alvarez and promoter Ruth Rodriguez Roa via Cathay Pacific flight CX925. The team is expected to land in Cebu later on the same day at 7:05pm.

Both fighters will meet the local media by Wednesday, July 5th, for the show’s Opponents’ PressCon at The Rajah Park Hotel.

By Wednesday afternoon, Diaz and Mrema will hit Robinsons Galleria for a Public Workout session at 5pm. Fans will have the chance to meet and take photos with the visiting teams and fighters after the activity, while complimentary tickets will also be given away during the Public Workout’s Q&A period.

ALA Promotions and Abs-cbn Sports’ Pinoy Pride 41: New Generation Warriors will take stage on July 8, 6pm, at the IEC Convention Center in Mabolo, Cebu City.
