Mojica, Ortega battle to a draw in Panama

In an early candidate for preliminary fight of the year, Panamanian bantamweights, Abdiel “El Cuco” Mojica (3-1-2, 2 KOs) and Héctor “Pitbull” Ortega (3-2-2, 1 KO) battled to a 6-round majority draw, before a sold-out crowd at the Laguna Premium’s Boxing Summer Fest, on Saturday night at the Gardens of the Hotel El Panamá.

Orlando “Virus” Mosquera (15-4-1, 4 KOs) defeated Fernando “Pantera” Martínez (6-4, 2 KOs) by disqualification in the fifth round.

In the main event, Jonathan “Alta Gamma” Miniel (8-0, 7 KOs) remained undefeated after a TKO-win over Colombian Manuel González who resigned at the end of the third round.
