Fast-rising hard-hitting southpaw WBO#15 Subaru Murata (9-0, 9 KOs), 121.75, collected another victim in WBO AP#1 Filipino Joseph Ambo (14-5-1, 9 KOs), 119.5, at 1:40 of the second round to retain his WBO AP junior feather belt with ease on Saturday in Tokyo, Japan. Fast and ferocious, Murata, 28, quickly decked Ambo with a one-two combo in the opening session and finished him with a vicious body shot in the next stanza. Murata, with a good lateral movement, may zoom up soon to be carefully watched by our ringsiders.

Promoter: Teiken Promotions.
