Serrano vows to steal the spotlight

WBC/WBO female featherweight world champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano: “Jake Paul is the main event, but he’s not the main attraction. I am going to make sure I steal the spotlight from him and entice people to enjoy female boxing and to understand that women can fight and put on shows, and showcase that we’re deserving of this opportunity.”

As a woman, I am appalled by the lack of respect Amanda is getting. Amanda is a Hall of Famer to be. A true pioneer. She should be the main event. Jake Paul isn’t good enough to shine Amanda’s shoes.

Most of the people paying for this have no idea of what a real boxing main event is. It is a show like professional wrestling.

If it makes you feel any better, these youtube freak fights get a ton more publicity than most male competitors that are infinitely more talented too, so its not purely a sex based thing.
Oh it doesn’t make you feel any better? Yeah…me neither.
Anyways, Serrano is very talented, so at least there will be one fight worth watching that day.

Female boxers get no respect. For Amanda to be a big star she has to continue her move to MMA.

MMA is not for Amanda, she has to just continue winning, Christie Martin got respect without a thought of MMA, she got her respect by KO’s.

ok just a little education for you first of all female MMA wasnt even around when Martin was boxing and she only has a 54% KO ratio and the fact she fought mainly fighters making their debuts the fact that she ducked Lucia Rijker alone tells you something and plus when she did fight real competition she lost or fighters with winning records

Amanda Serrano is the real GWOAT! With Christie Martin being the pioneer. You Can’t call yourself the “GWOAT” with 11 fights and only 2 KO’s Clarissa Shields does have the potential to be great but not yet, Serrano is a 7 belt champion with over 30 fights, Christie Martin has the women’s record KO’s. Sorry Clarissa you are not there yet.

you are correct sir and ill add…. Serrano is a 14x World Champion in 7 different weight divisions with a 71% KO ratio and a record of 40-1-1 with 30 kos making her the current hardest hitting female world champion and the P4P Queen of Boxing second to absolutely none
