Can Xu, Canizalez retain WBA titles in China

WBA featherweight champion Can Xu (17-2, 3 KOs) retained his title with a sixth round TKO over former WBA super bantam champ Shun Kubo (13-2, 9 KOs) on Sunday night in a packed Fuzhou Gymnasium in Fuzhou, China. Can punished Kubo and dropped him hard in round five and the bout was waved off by referee Gustavo Padilla in round six.

Unbeaten WBA light flyweight champion Carlos Canizales (22-0-1, 17 KOs) retained his title with a twelve round unanimous decision over former WBO fly champ Sho Kimura (18-3-2, 11 KOs). Scores were 119-109, 119-109, 118-110. It was a good scrap all the way, despite the wide scores.

WBA International flyweight beltholder Wulan Tuolehazi (12-3-1, 5 KOs) won by twelve round majority decision over Ardin Diale (35-14-4, 17 KOs) in a hard-fought match.
