  • Mourad Aliev is boxing’s equivalent of Simone Biles. Neither of whom have class. Neither of whom know the meaning of class. Both of whom need to take a class in getting class.

Mourad Aliev, you are a fucking disgrace to the sport. Now, go to your room. You make me sick.

    • This here is a fine display of “class”, Includes judging people on situations you know nothing about and, my favorite, whining about high performance athletes not meeting the high bar you never set for yourself. Hope you fell better kicking athletes while they’re down.
Now, stay in your room. You have nothing.

  • Like allways judging is a fucking shame.. I’m done with amateur boxing.. AIBA should fuck themselves in the a…

    • LOL yeah, you’re “DONE with amateur boxing” because of the judging. I suppose you’re going to watch pro boxing where the judging is always fair hahaha.

      • Hawn, you make us yawn.

Now go home and get your fucking shine box.

        Speaketh … Mort.

        • Probably more fair than amateur boxing ! I was a ref/judge in amateur boxing a few years ago on French level and i quit because i was so upset of some decisions made by old refs/judges who won’t stop judging because of the extra money they get while doing it… And a lot of them are between 60 and 70 years old and thats’ extra money they can ad to their shitty retirement money !

  • Men’s flyweight and women’s lightweight should both be a lot of fun. I’ve enjoyed the competition. There has been some silliness, but some really good fights too.

  • Mort Richards –
“Mourad Aliev, you are a fucking disgrace to the sport. Now, go to your room. You make me sick.”

Also Mort Richards – “you need to mellow out”

Whats the story with Aliev? I haven’t been following the Olympics.

    • He got disqualified (which was wrong, to his credit) and then had a tantrum for the ages.

      • This is why parenting skills need to be re-evaluated. This guy’s parents were soft, and that is why he is mentally soft.

        Great post, Lucie.
        A+.

        • and you are a sore looser who was never involved in any kind of high level sport…

  • They basically gave Fraser Clarke a medal which is BS. Of course its an american ref who does it. They had a center piece on Fraser Clarke before the olympics began on ESPN. Why? He is not American. But for some reason he was chosen and they werent going to let him lose.

    • Ha Ha Mike!!
Bet if Clarke was an American, you would be supporting the decision.
Just for the record, his French opponent kept cheating with headbutts. Maybe you should watch the fight before making your biased opinion.

      • No he didnt. And the French guy had just beaten Clarke about a month ago at a previous tournament.

        • Mike, he fouled Clarke twice with headbutts to Clarkes eyes, hence the reason for his disqualification

    • Watch every previous comment i made, never one word higher than another but i’m 44 years old and i’m tired of this AIBA crap.. I quit ref/judging because of that.. It’s a mafia.. Figure skating was the same and they changed the way athletes are rated.. Amateur boxing needs to do the same.. Ask Roy Jones and Floyd Mayweather how you feel when you work hard 4 years long and when you get robbed..
