In a crossroads fight, former world title challenger Robin Krasniqi (48-5, 17 KOs) scored a tactical twelve round unanimous decision over former WBA interim champion Stanislav Kashtanov (36-3, 21 KOs) to claim the vacant EBU European super middleweight title on Saturday night at the Wee Arena in Bad Tölzer, Germany. The superbly conditioned Krasniqi outboxed the slower Kashtanov, who stalked but never really did much significant damage. Scores were 116-113, 117-111, 116-112.

Robin Krasniqi: “It was all or nothing! With this great title, I’ve finally made it and won the victory for my great team. Now SES Boxing has three European champions!”

Super middleweight Emre Cukur outpointed Roman Shkarupa over twelve to take the EE EBU belt.
