Four of the world ranked Panamanian boxers scheduled to fight for WBA titles on February 7th in the K.O. to Drugs Festival started a local promotional tour which first stop was in La Gran Estacion mall located just at the limit between San Miguelito and Panama, the two districts with the highest population density in the country.
Flyweight Luis “El Nica” Concepción (38-8, 27 KOs) wearing a sleeveless shirt, confirmed to his fans that he is getting very close to the division limit to face Colombian Rober Barrera (23-2, 13 KOs) on the main event for the world flyweight interim belt.
“It’ll be an honor to me to become a champion again on a KO to Drugs card in which we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Arena Roberto Duran. I got out of the gym weighing 117 pounds today and feeling strong so we invite everyone to see me beat Barrera” said Concepcion, who gave away autographed posters and miniature gloves, WBA keyholders, flyers and some free tickets to over a hundred fans who took photos with him and shared them on social media with the hashtag #KOalasdrogaspanama.
Female super bantam Laura Ledezma (14-0, 7 KOs), featherweight Bryan “La Roca” De Gracia (25-2-1,21 KOs), and minimumweight Carlos “Arañita” Ortega (14-5-3, 5 KOs) were the other ranked stars who participated on this tour which will have its next stop on Friday, January 31st in a spot of the city to be announced.
If you want to rid the drug problem, legalize an annual purge just to seek drug dealers. If you tag-in a dealer, the government gives a $10,000 bonus cash……Yep, that will work…..
