The IBF has reportedly granted the exception requested by unified middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin to defend his title against late sub Vanes Martirosyan. The ruling requires GGG to face mandatory challenger Sergey Derevyanchenko in his next fight, which could KO a GGG vs. Canelo rematch in September if Golovkin wants to keep the belt.
