Heavyweight BJ Flores posted a message for fight fans on his Facebook page following his loss to Trevor Bryan for the World Boxing Association (WBA) interim heavyweight title on Saturday night in Phoenix.
“I want to thank everyone for coming out last night and supporting me. Things did not go our way and I give a full credit to Trevor a Bryan for doing what he had to do and making the fight difficult for me. I gave my best effort and got caught with a good shot in the second round. I was unable to see clearly and my only chance was to try and catch him with something Coming in as I wasn’t able to see clearly in the outside. I caught him with some good shots, but he did what he had to do to secure the victory. Full credit and I wish Trevor the best in his bright future. I want to sincerely express my gratitude for all the support I felt last night. Things didn’t go our way. Life goes on and I will always remember my opportunity to fight for a heavyweight title.”
