Welterweights Alexander Besputin and Radzhab Butaev faced off at the final press conference ahead of their fight for the vacant WBA title at the Casino de Monte Carlo, Monaco on Saturday night. The card will be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK and DAZN in the US.
Radzhab Butaev: “I’ll do my best to make a beautiful show and come Saturday night you won’t regret watching. I hope it is going to be a war. I hope he is going to stay and not quit.”
Alexander Besputin: We were both in the Russian team but we never met in the ring. I think it’s going to be a very interesting fight for the Russian fans and many people in Russia will be watching this fight. On November 30th it’s going to be a great night.”
Love the match up: two undefeated fighters who have faced good opposition from day #1. Besputin is clearly the favorite. Regardless the outcome, both fighters have a great future.
Quietly, a great matchup has been made. A fighter that is pure action, technically sound with respectable punching power (Butaev) will face a masterful technician that fights a lot similar to Vasyl Lomachenko, just a bit careless, just a bit more aggressive (Alexander Besputin). Both young and undefeated, with a solid amateur background. I going to watch this fight for sure, and I hope the winner can fight in a big event against Pacquiao or Crawford.
Ra ra Besputin he was a cat that really waa gone. ( my take on a Boney M song)
Another WBA welter title? I thought there was only 40 available,I guess I was WRONG. The number is now 75 WBA paper titles. AND more coming your way. The WBA really means Worlds biggest AZZCLOWNZZ!!!!!
