Azim stops Lipinets; Simpson halts Ahorgah

Unbeaten super lightweight Adam Azim (13-0, 10 KOs) scored an impressive ninth round stoppage against former world champion Sergey Lipinets (18-4-1, 13 KOs) on Saturday night at Wembley Arena in London. Azim dropped Lipinets in round three with a short left hook. Azim was deducted points for low blows in round four and seven. Azim pummeled Lipinets in round nine and got a referee’s stoppage.

Unbeaten WBA #9, IBF #14 super middleweight Callum Simpson (17-0, 12 KOs) scored a fifth round KO against Elvis Ahorgah (13-3, 12 KOs). Simpson floored Ahorgah in round five to end it.
