Boxing returns to the bright lights of Southern California as Terry Claybon's LB4LB Promotions presents "Hollywood Fight Night V" on Friday night at the Henry Fonda Music Box Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
Topping the six-bout card, undefeated Heavyweight Damien Wills will face Ronnie Smith in the six round main event bout.
Wills, (10-0, 10 KO's) from Hollywood, CA, has won all of his fights before reaching the final stanza. All but three of his fights have ended in spectacular fashion in the first round. Wills has a current streak of ending fights in the first round
In his last fight, Wills defeated Clinton Whitehead by first round knockout last month inside the same venue.
Wills, who is nicknamed "Bolo," is 24 years old and has a desire to fight as often as possible. This will be Wills' fourth fight of 2004.
Smith, (6-30, 6 KO's) from Atlanta, TX, is attempting to break a five-bout losing streak. Smith does possess knockout power as evident to all of his victories coming by knockout.
Smith has fought against some of the best Heavyweights in the world. He has been in the ring against Lamon Brewster, Ray Austin, Eliceo Castillo, Dominck Guinn, Davarryl Williamson, and Clifford Etienne.
He hopes to put up a strong fight against Wills and put a blemish on the mark of the young fighter from Hollywood.
In the co-feature, George Blades will face Tyrone Jackson in a six round Light Heavyweight bout.
Blades, (18-2, 14 KO's) from Orlando, FL, is the current NABC Cruiserweight champion. He won the title in his last bout in May when he knocked out Kevin Miller in the third round in Indianapolis, IN.
His two losses were against undefeated fighters, Nick Cook in 2002 and Charles Tanner in 2003.
Blades is on a current three-fight winning streak and is positioning himself to fight contenders in his weight class or as a Light Heavyweight next year.
Jackson, (8-30-2, 5 KO's) from Tyler, TX, is hoping to snap a two bout losing streak. In his last bout, Jackson lost a close unanimous decision to Gabriel Holguin last month in Laredo, TX..
Cruiserweight Darius Watson will face Preston Tony Kenney in a six round bout.
Watson, (7-0, 3 KO's) from Los Angeles, will fight for the first time since defeating Jermaine Johnson in February.
Watson has gone the distance in his last three bouts. Currently, he is a physical education teacher at a South Central Los Angeles Junior High school.
Kenney, (5-11, 4 KO's) from Columbia, MO, has won his last two bouts after having dropped five bouts in a row. In his noteworthy fights, he has lost to Anwar Oshana and to Damon Reed.

- Suswella Roberts will face Danille Chirtensen in a four round female Junior Welterweight bout.
- Mike Lyubarsky will face Sean Holley in a four round Welterweight bout.
- Alex Silva will face Carlos Gutierrez in a four round Lightweight bout.
