Abduqaxorov beats Mikhaylenko for WBC silver

In a clash for the WBC silver welterweight belt, unbeaten WBC #7, WBA #8, IBF #10 Qudratillo “The Punisher” Abduqaxorov (12-0, 8 KOs) pounded out a twelve round unanimous decision over WBO #11, IBF #11, WBC #13 Dmitry “The Mechanic” Mikhaylenko (22-2, 10 KOs) on Sunday night. Abduqaxorov was deducted a point in round seven after an accidental headbutt which left Mikhaylenko with a bloody gash on the right side of his forehead. Overall Abduqaxorov did more and deserved the win. The bout was the co-feature on the big Lebedev-Flanagan card at the DIVS in Ekaterinburg, Russia.

IBF #11, WBA #14 lightweight Pavel Malikov (12-0, 5 KOs) scored a ten round split decision over former world title challenger Daiki Kaneko (26-6-3, 18 KOs). Malikov dropped Kaneko in round one, but the bout went ten hard rounds with Kaneko being dropped again with a punch just after the final bell.

Featherweight Mark Uranov (11-1, 6 KOs) scored an eight round split decision over Jin Miura (9-2, 1 KO) in a clash for the WBO Asia Pacific Youth title.
