Kimura to face WBO 112lb champ Zou in China

By Joe Koizumi

WBO#7 Sho Kimura (14-1-2, 7 KOs) will have an ambitious crack at the WBO flyweight belt against Shiming Zou (9-1, 2 KOs) in Shanghai, China, on July 28. Kimura, now training in Thailand, will come home and then make a press conference to show his determination prior to his first world title shot. Zou, two-time Olympic gold medalist in Beijing and London, is making his initial defense since he acquired the vacant 112-pound belt by unanimously defeating Kwanpichit Onesongchaigym on points last November.
