Ex-champ Gonzalez crushes Rosales in two

Former multi-division world champion Jhonny González (64-10, 54 KOs) demolished previously unbeaten Filipino Jessie “Jimdomar” Rosales (21-1-1, 9 KOs) in the second round on Saturday night in a clash for a WBC regional belt at the Lienzo Charro in Hidalgo Del Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico. The hard-hitting Gonzalez dropped Rosalez with a left hook to the head, then finished him later in the round with a hook to the body. Gonzalez, long one of the most exciting fighters in boxing, is currently rated WBC #5 and is now hoping to land a shot at WBC champ Miguel Berchelt.
