Ex-champ Bika returns Saturday

By Ray Wheatley – World of Boxing

Former WBC super middleweight champion Sakio “The Scorpion” Bika (32-7-3, 21 KOs) will be in action on Saturday at the Fraternity Club, Fairy Meadow, NSW, Australia against Luke Sharp (14-5-3, 6 KOs) over twelve rounds with the WBC Asian Council Continental title up for grabs.

Bika is coming off a twelve round decision loss to WBC light-heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson in 2015. He captured the WBC super middleweight crown defeating Marco Antonio Periban in 2013. Bika challenged Andre Ward in 2010 and Joe Calzaghe in 2006 unsuccessfully in world title bouts but gave them very tough fights.

Sharp is coming off an eight round points decision loss to Reagan Dessaix in March.
